About the Opportunity

We are supporting an opportunity for an experienced Level II Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a telemetry setting.
 

The Registered Nurse will provide competent nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards, policies, and procedures. The role may also offer an expanded scope of responsibility, including charge nurse, preceptor, and/or committee responsibilities.
 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care, professional development, research, and evidence-based nursing practice.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care in a telemetry environment.

  • Monitor and assess patients, recognizing changes in condition and responding appropriately.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, ancillary departments, patients, and families.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.

  • Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and service excellence.

  • Participate in professional development and continuing education activities.

  • Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.

  • May serve in an expanded nursing role, including:

    • Charge Nurse responsibilities

    • Preceptor responsibilities

    • Committee participation

  • Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.
     

Required Qualifications
 

  • Active New York State RN License

  • Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience

  • Telemetry experience required

  • BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Ability to work a non-straight shift schedule based on departmental requirements.
     

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Previous experience in an acute-care hospital setting.

  • Experience serving as a charge nurse or preceptor.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based nursing practice and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Strong commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care.
     

Schedule
 

Full-time
 

This position does not offer a straight shift schedule. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work varying shifts based on departmental requirements.
 

Compensation
 

$120,000–$135,000 per year

Education
 

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field
